Pocket FM, a personalized audio streaming service, has announced the appointment of Shubh Bansal as VP-Growth and Rahul Nag as Head of Communications. These strategic additions aim to enhance the company’s revenue, accelerate growth initiatives, and elevate brand positioning.
Shubh Bansal, former co-founder at Truebil (an auto-tech platform acquired by Spinny), will spearhead business growth initiatives across listenership and explore new business opportunities.
Rahul Nag, with over 15 years of experience in communications, will drive stakeholder engagement through external, social media, and internal communications. Nag has previously worked with organizations such as Flock, Mindtree, and ShareChat, where he played a crucial role in crisis communication during the Mindtree-L&T takeover conflict.
Both Bansal and Nag will report to Rohan Nayak, CEO, and co-founder of Pocket FM. Nayak expressed optimism about the company’s growth trajectory, stating, “As we continue our exponential growth curve in the backdrop of a unique storytelling experience, we are bullish on our market leadership in the ‘audio entertainment’ space. Both Shubh and Rahul are proven leaders in their space and are valuable additions to our strategic team.”
